Melanie Wilson Rughani joined the Firm in 2008 after clerking for Judge Kenneth F. Ripple of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Since joining the firm, she has authored appellate briefs in a number of federal and state courts, including an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court.

Melanie received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Executive Editor for the Virginia Law Review. She received her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Kansas.
