Joanne Savage joined Mayer Brown in 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, she
clerked for Judge Rosemary Barkett of the United States Court of Appeals for the
Eleventh Circuit and served as a legislative consultant to the ACLU's Washington
Legislative Office.
Joanne received her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was a Coker Teaching
Fellow, Articles Editor for the Yale Human Rights and Development Law Journal,
and a member of the Allard K. Lowenstein International Human Rights Law Clinic.
She received her B.A. from Rice University.
Joanne is a member of the Bar of the State of New York; her application to join
the D.C. bar is pending. She practices under the supervision of principals of
the firm.
