John Goldberg, Professor of Law at Harvard University, is an expert on torts and mass torts. He has written extensively in the areas of tort law, jurisprudence, and legal history, and is affiliated with Mayer Brown to consult on tort law and class action issues.

After graduating from New York University Law School in 1991, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and Order of the Coif, John clerked for Judge Jack B. Weinstein on the Eastern District of New York and for Justice Byron R. White on the Supreme Court. John practiced in Boston after clerking, and then began teaching at Vanderbilt, in 1995. He has been at Harvard since 2008.
