Foster Johnson is an associate in Mayer Brown's Supreme Court & Appellate practice. He has handled a wide variety of civil appeals and mandamus proceedings in state and federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fifth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits, the Supreme Courts of Texas and California, and several intermediate state courts of appeals. His experience includes a broad range of interlocutory appeals, amicus curiae briefs, and preserving error at the trial level.
Mr. Johnson received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served on both the Stanford Law and Policy Review and the Stanford Technology Law Review. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Priscilla Owen of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
