Alumni

Kathryn Oberly was a partner in the Firm's appellate group from 1986-1991. Along with Ken Geller and Andrew Frey, she established the practice group's presence in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. Before joining the Firm, she served as an Assistant to the Solicitor General. She has argued 14 cases in the Supreme Court of the United States, including most recently Reeves v. Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse v. Hopkins. In 1991, she joined Ernst & Young as a partner and as Associate General Counsel. Since 1994, Kathryn has been Vice Chair and General Counsel of Ernst & Young LLP. She was recently named by the National Law Journal as one of the 50 most influential women lawyers in the United States....
