Since joining Mayer Brown, Brad Rosenberg has worked on a variety of appellate matters in both state and federal courts of appeals, involving issues such as accountant liability, class actions, antitrust, and international law. In that last category, Brad recently convinced the Seventh Circuit that the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations confers a private right of action for monetary damages-the first appellate court ever to so hold. Brad also has an extensive brief-writing practice before trial courts, regulatory agencies, and arbitration panels. He has argued in the Seventh Circuit and in federal and state trial courts.

Brad is a 1999 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a finalist in the William Minor Lile Moot Court Competition and was Articles Editor of the Virginia Tax Review. After law school, Brad clerked for Judge Norman K. Moon of the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
