Adam C. Sloane focuses primarily on appellate litigation and regulatory practice before the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Surface Transportation Board, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and other agencies.  He also has extensive experience with the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”), representing clients seeking information under the FOIA and companies seeking to protect confidential business information from disclosure under the FOIA and State open records acts.  His appellate experience includes FOIA cases, products liability, punitive damages, and cases reviewing Federal regulations.  He also has represented clients in railroad merger cases before the Surface Transportation Board and in investigations before various safety agencies, and he has written hundreds of requests for confidential treatment of business information submitted to federal and state agencies.
