Michele L. Odorizzi

For more than thirty years, Michele Odorizzi has concentrated on brief-writing at both the trial and appellate levels. During that time, she has argued more than 70 appeals, appearing in all but one of the federal Courts of Appeals, as well as a variety of state supreme and appellate courts.  Michele’s substantive areas of expertise include securities, shareholder derivative and takeover litigation, class actions, consumer and constitutional litigation, as well as general commercial litigation. Michele received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School in 1976, clerked for Judge Philip W. Tone on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in 1976-77 and for Justice John Paul Stevens on the United States Supreme Court in the 1979 Term. Michele has been ranked by Chambers USA as one of the leading litigators in Illinois for more than a decade and in September 2014 was listed by Leading Lawyers Network as one of the Top Ten Women Business Lawyers in Illinois.
