Ames v. Ohle (Louisiana)

Plaintiff sought to hold JPMorgan Chase liable for a subsidiary’s former employee, who committed fraud while serving as trustee of a trust created by Plaintiff. The court of appeal affirmed, by a 3-2 vote, the district court’s decision granting summary judgment for JPMorgan. The Louisiana Supreme Court denied plaintiffs’ application for a writ of certiorari by a 4-3 vote.
