Trump v. International Refugee Assistance Project; Trump v. Hawaii (U.S. Supreme Court)

On behalf of 161 technology companies, including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, and others, we filed an amicus brief explaining how the travel ban is antithetical to American values and hurts American businesses. Our brief also explained why the travel ban violates the nation’s immigration statutes for a number of reasons, principally that it exceeds the President’s authority under those statutes and engages in impermissible discrimination based on nationality.
