Dan Jones is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Supreme Court & Appellate Practice.  Dan represents businesses, organizations, and individuals in critical motions practice and briefing spanning a diverse range of substantive issues, including federal arbitration law, consumer class actions, federal subject-matter jurisdiction, and federal preemption.  Prior to rejoining the firm in 2013, Dan clerked for the Honorable Stanley Marcus on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Dan graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served as the Executive Topics & Comments Editor for the University of Chicago Law Review and was a John M. Olin Student Fellow in Law and Economics.  Dan received his BA from Amherst College, where he majored in English and mathematics.
